Goa में चल रहे 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI 2025) के दौरान इस बार एक खास पहल ने सभी मीडिया delegates का ध्यान अपनी ओर आकर्षित किया। PIB और Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) द्वारा Film Appreciation Course आयोजित किया गया। यह कार्यक्रम festival की academic depth को बढ़ाने का काम कर रहा है और Indian cinema studies में एक महत्वपूर्ण योगदान भी प्रस्तुत करता है।
IFFI हमेशा से फिल्मों, फिल्मकारों और सिनेमा संस्कृति के उत्सव का मंच रहा है। लेकिन इस बार, सिनेमा की समझ को और अधिक गहरा करने के लिए एक structured academic course का आयोजन किया गया है। यह आयोजन सीधे तौर पर film form, history, और cinematic aesthetics को समझने का एक अनोखा अवसर प्रदान करता है।
Cinematic Literacy को मजबूत बनाने वाला कार्यक्रम
PIB और FTII का यह joint initiative पूरी तरह से media delegates को सिनेमा की गहराई से पहचान कराना था। यह कोर्स केवल किसी फिल्म देखने के लिए उत्साहित करने तक सीमित नहीं था, बल्कि यह समझाने पर भी फोकस करता था कि फिल्में कैसे बनती हैं, किन सिद्धांतों पर चलती हैं, और उनके visual language का दर्शकों पर क्या प्रभाव पड़ता है।
Participants को film form और narrative techniques से लेकर film history और world cinema के evolution तक हर पहलू पर insights दिए गए हैं। Lectures और analytical sessions ने delegates को सिस्टमेटिक तरीके से यह सिखाया कि एक फिल्म को सिर्फ entertainment नहीं, बल्कि art form की तरह कैसे देखा जाना चाहिए।
FTII के शीर्ष Professors ने दी गहन ट्रेनिंग
कोर्स को FTII के दो अनुभवी और respected faculty members द्वारा lead किया गया—
- Prof. Dr. Indranil Bhattacharya (IB), Professor, Screen Studies & Research
- Prof. Vaibhav Abnave (VA), Associate Professor, Film Direction
दोनों professors ने अपनी decades long academic और industry experience को delegates के साथ साझा किया। Screenings, classroom style discussions, और in depth analysis ने sessions को अत्यंत enriching बनाने का काम किया।
Prof. IB की film theory और screen studies में expertise तथा Prof. VA की direction oriented practical insights ने कोर्स को balanced और multi-dimensional बना दिया।
A Complete Film Study Package
यह कोर्स एक traditional classroom lecture नहीं था। इससे delegates को opportunity मिला कि वे विभिन्न levels पर cinema को dissect और interpret कर सकें:
- Lectures: Cinematic theory, form, and evolution पर structured teaching
- Screenings: Carefully selected films, जिनके माध्यम से film aesthetics को practically समझाया गया
- Discussions: Classroom like debates, जहां participants ने अपने perspectives share किए

इस approach से फिल्म appreciation, theoretical के साथ actual cinema को समझने का एक powerful experiential method बन गया।
