बीते दिन भारत के Defence Research and Development ecosystem में एक महत्वपूर्ण milestone तब दर्ज किया गया, जब Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), Avadi, Chennai में Golden Jubilee Valedictory Function का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर Dr Samir V Kamat, Secretary, Department of Defence R&D एवं Chairman, DRDO मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित थे। 50 वर्षों की research excellence, indigenous innovation और armoured systems development की यात्रा को समर्पित यह समारोह Defence manufacturing और in house technology development में भारत की बढ़ती क्षमता का सशक्त प्रतीक बनकर उभरा।

CVRDE के 50 वर्ष: Armoured Systems में Research Excellence की यात्रा

CVRDE, जो DRDO की एक प्रमुख laboratory है, पिछले पाँच दशकों से भारत के Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFVs), Running Gear Systems, Automotive technologies और Combat mobility solutions के विकास में केंद्रीय भूमिका निभा रहा है। Golden Jubilee समारोह ने इस बात को रेखांकित किया है कि CVRDE एक R&D establishment ही नहीं है, बल्कि Indian Army के लिए mission critical platforms और subsystems का backbone भी रहा है।

अपने संबोधन में Dr Samir V Kamat ने CVRDE की उपलब्धियों को Defence preparedness और आत्मनिर्भर भारत (Aatmanirbhar Bharat) के vision से जोड़ते हुए कहा कि indigenous design, testing और validation capabilities ही भविष्य की security requirements को पूरा करने का एकमात्र sustainable रास्ता है। उन्होंने CVRDE scientists, engineers और technical staff के collective contribution को nation building के लिए अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण बताया।

Golden Jubilee Photo Album का विमोचन

समारोह के दौरान Dr Samir V Kamat ने CVRDE Golden Jubilee Photo Album का औपचारिक विमोचन किया। यह album CVRDE की 50 वर्षों की research journey, landmark projects, major technological breakthroughs और field deployments का visual documentation था।

इस album के माध्यम से CVRDE की evolution from concept design से लेकर field ready armoured solutions तक को एक structured narrative में प्रस्तुत किया गया है। यह organisation की institutional memory को सहेजता है, साथ ही युवा researchers और defence technologists के लिए inspiration का स्रोत भी बनता है। Defence R&D में continuity और knowledge transfer के दृष्टिकोण से इस photo album को एक महत्वपूर्ण archival initiative माना जा रहा है।

NABL Certification: Testing और Validation में नई विश्वसनीयता

Golden Jubilee समारोह का एक अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण highlight रहा NABL certificate का प्रदान किया जाना। यह certification Mechanical Systems के testing facilities के लिए दिया गया है, जो CVRDE की laboratory infrastructure और quality assurance standards को राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर मान्यता प्रदान करता है।

NABL accreditation का अर्थ है कि CVRDE की testing processes अब globally benchmarked protocols के अनुरूप है। इससे defence platforms के subsystems की reliability, safety और performance validation और अधिक मजबूत होगी। Defence manufacturing में testing credibility एक critical factor होती है, और यह certification CVRDE को एक trusted in house testing hub के रूप में स्थापित करती है।

DGQA / CEMILAC से Technical Approval

समारोह के दौरान DGQA / CEMILAC से प्राप्त Letter of Technical Approval भी formally handed over किया गया। यह approval in house development of Piston Seals के लिए था, जो Running Gear Systems of Armoured Fighting Vehicles का एक महत्वपूर्ण component है।

Piston seals जैसे critical mechanical components का indigenous development defence platforms की operational readiness के लिए अत्यंत आवश्यक होता है। Import dependency को कम करना, supply chain security को मजबूत करना और lifecycle support में flexibility लाना, ये सभी advantages इस in house capability से प्राप्त होंगे।

यह approval इस बात का प्रमाण है कि CVRDE design और development में सक्षम है, और stringent military quality standards को meet करने वाले components को certify कराने की institutional maturity भी रखता है।

Leadership Presence और Institutional Synergy

इस Golden Jubilee Valedictory Function में कई वरिष्ठ defence leaders की उपस्थिति रही, जिनमें Prof. (Dr) Prateek Kishore, DS & DG (ACE), Shri J Rajesh Kumar, OS & Director, CVRDE, और Shri Subhod Kumar Nayak, OS & Director, PXE शामिल थे।

NABL certification और DGQA / CEMILAC approvals जैसे milestones यह स्पष्ट करते हैं कि DRDO अब end to end capability development की दिशा में आगे बढ़ रहा है, जहाँ concept से लेकर certification तक पूरा cycle देश के भीतर ही पूरा हो सके।

CVRDE की strengthened testing infrastructure और certified in house components का सीधा असर Indian Army की operational preparedness पर पड़ेगा। Faster development cycles, reduced dependence on external vendors, और assured quality standards, ये सभी factors future armoured platforms की combat readiness को बेहतर बनाएँगे।

इसके साथ ही, defence manufacturing ecosystem में MSMEs और private industry के लिए भी collaboration के नए अवसर खुलेंगे, क्योंकि validated in house technologies industry adoption के लिए अधिक credible बनती है।
